Although Blue Monday is well behind us, I know many are still feeling the weight of New Year’s resolutions which they just can’t let go, caught between the feeling of ‘why don’t I just stamp a massive ‘F’ on my head and call it a day?’ and desperate perseverance, God forbid you should admit defeat and actually become one of those ‘F’ branded fools who make overly ambitious resolutions they just can’t stick to.
About a month ago, whist lying in bed feeling sorry for myself having semi-intentionally overslept and considering giving up on the quite possibly deluded goals I set on Wednesday 1st January, 2014 at 00:00AM, I came across this article which inspired me to get out of bed and follow its advice:

But remember: ‘Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful’ so keep your resolutions in mind but don’t make them the be all and end all.
