A visit here in June closed the deal on me moving to Valencia and is the reason why I was so determined to rent a room in the same area if not on the same road…or above it…or inside it.
It’s not just me who thinks it’s great. Every time you suggest going for brunch somewhere around town, it’s rare that the Argentinian run ‘Dulce de Leche’ isn’t the first suggestion. Anyone who knows anything about Russafa/Ruzafa and is a fan of brunch, also knows that Dulce de Leche is THE place to go for drinks, cakes and savouries. Everything arrives in little trays made of wood and cork and your order is sure to come with a quirky addition, like a beehive honey dipper or a large sprig of mint in your iced green tea (the best iced green tea I have tasted to date).
They even have Kinfolk Magazine on display! The owner carries a COS bag! There are Plugs! There is WiFi! The food is beautiful! Everyone who works there is beautiful! Everything about it is beautiful! Even the prices!
